Bulk gas

Position : Index > Bulk gas

Liquid argon

Argon is present in atmosphere to the extent of about 0.93%. It is colorless, odorless, tasteless and non-toxic gas. It is non-flammable and is a highly inert gas. Apply modes for argon are liquid and  as compressed gas. Argon is a member of a special group of gases known as the "rare", "noble", or "inert" gases.

Machine/Metal Construction
Iron and Steel
Other applications

Used for industrial and hospital analyses quality control
Protecting welds against oxidation reduction of welding emissions
Used in its pure form for protection against impurities
Stirring and decarburizing steel (especially stainless alloys)
Luminescent mixtures for filling light bulbs and fluorescent tubes
Inflating car airbags
